I am a lifelong naturalist and birder, as well as a practicing wildlife biologist since the 1970s, working primarily in wildlife management and species at risk conservation in many parts of the Province of Ontario (Canada). I have also been a hobby nature photographer throughout my life. My greatest interest has been in terrestrial vertebrates, although I also have a growing interest in and am trying to slowly gain some identification skills in some invertebrate and plant groups.
