I'm just an amateur nature enthusiast with a background of a few odd ball things here and there. As a 3rd generation San Diego native, I've grown up with a passion for wildlife, zoology and, conservation (especially for local wildlife). I have a background in exotic pets (reptiles, inverts and fish) going back over 15 years as well as an interest in botany and horticulture (indoor and tropical plants especially). I grew up listening to nature-infused tales from my "OG Desert Rat" Grandfather who was big into exploring San Diego county and looking for wildlife. I aspire to carry the proverbial torch by seeking out areas and keeping an open eye to wildlife in and around San Diego and sharing that knowledge and love wherever and whenever possible. There's always something new to learn and explore and I'm glad to be able to be a part of a community where everyone is willing to share their knowledge and passion for wildlife like everyone here on iNaturalist.
