I am Providence Akayezu from Rwanda, East Africa. Being a biologist conservationist, I am much inclined to landscapes ecology: mainly water, land and forest ecosystems. Along with this, I have been a teacher, and stay passionate about building the capacity for people, at the same time dig in to understand the interactions of people and nature. I am also very interested with species: herbivores, mammals, insects, plants and birds among others. Identification is sometimes difficult for me, but I can have a guess for general names of species, or have time to check in books, blogs, or describe the species' habitat for someone to help with the names.
I like taking photos and sharing, so definitely this platform is relevant for me :-) - happy to get connected with a global diversity of nature lovers.
