I work on plant phylogenomics, but I'm also interested in natural history more generally. I love herbaria, I love georeferenced nature photography, and I love getting to know new floras.

Current PhD student in the Soltis Lab at the University of Florida. Former Masters student in the Bailey Lab at New Mexico State University.

My main interest is Lamiaceae, and I'm always looking to see new mint species in person (see my mint observations).

I've spent a lot of time documenting biodiversity in McDonald State Forest outside of Corvallis, OR and the area surrounding the Organ Mountains of southern New Mexico.

Here are some of my pet projects in the states I've lived in and gotten to know.
- Florida Mint Monitoring Project
- New Mexico Mint Monitoring Project
- Oregon Mint Monitoring Project
- Wisconsin Mint Monitoring Project
