I am many things to many people. I grew up in Missouri and became a nature lover when my Dad would take me fishing and hunting. He taught me respect for the plants, animals and water that we encountered on every outing. Everything we hunted was food for our table. Believe it or not, hunting was the foundation for my love of all living things. I grew up, got married and moved to Texas. I traded my shotgun for a camera and have been capturing images of just about anything that would sit still long enough to have its photo taken ever since.
I've recently been accepted into the Texas Master Naturalist program for the class of 2018.
