I live near Nottingham in England, have been a bird-watcher since 1980 and also into butterflies, dragonflies, reptiles, amphibians, orchids and whatever else I notice. I am the county dragonfly recorder for Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, approximately 5000 km squares. I've been married twice, widowed and divorced and have one grown son who is my best friend.
