I am an evolutionary geneticist at the University of Kentucky. My lab uses pine sawflies in the genus Neodiprion to understand how organisms adapt to new conditions and how new species form. I have been working on this genus for ~18 years and can ID most eastern North American species based on larval coloration. If you find live colonies, my lab always welcomes samples!
