Passionate about the environment and the outdoors. Significant roles in life include teaching, parenting, running an ecotourism business and later in life returning to study ecology and then working for DOC as a science advisor. Returned to Christchurch after a 10 year gap (6 years in North Island and 4 in Tasmania), ECan Councillor 2016-2019 and now enjoying being the 'Roaming Ecologist' at nzecologist.com
