Graduated in Biological Sciences from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1990), master in Enviromental and Forestal Sciences at the Rural Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1997) and Ph.D. in Biosciences and Environmental Sciences at the State University of North Rio de Janeiro-Darcy Ribeiro (2005). Presenting proficiency in ecological research and teaching, mainly in aquatic environments. Last link as a collaborating researcher at the Laboratory of Phicology and Environmental Education at UERJ. Member of the Guandu River Committee (2012-2017), acting on technical committees. Currently studying for "Regional Tourism Guide" with specialization in natural attractions at CIETH-Niterói. Strongly in favor of the dissemination and praise of science and education, as well as the unrestricted struggle against all forms of prejudice and fundamentalism.
