Dan Kraus

Dan is the National conservation biologist with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC). He has worked on projects that range from conservation planning to habitat management to climate change adaptation. He is an expert on Canadian species and landscape ecology, and is a member of the IUCN Species Survival Commission and the Committee on Species at Risk in Ontario. He has authored several reports and papers on a variety of topics including freshwater conservation, natural capital, biodiversity indicators and conservation planning. Dan’s blogs and editorials have appeared in media across Canada.
