Armchair biologist from the midwest with a special passion for living dinosaurs (birds) and reptiles. Graduated with a Master's in paleontology from the University of Iowa. Have been keeping a life list of every wild vertebrate animal I've seen for the past 5 years or so. Avid photographer trying to document every species of vertebrate I can find. Starting in 2019 I set a personal goal to see 100 new species every year. In 2019 I've managed 112 new species, the last being a pair of Snail Kites in Ft. Myers Florida. 2021 was very productive with 215 new species. 2022 currently sits at 20 species with Little Stint being the newest addition.
