Love to explore and photograph flora and fauna. I grew up in Indiana but have spent the majority of my life in Washington State. Most of my nature explorations center in the shrub-steppe of Washington and the black oak savanna and prairies of Indiana.

Co-creator of the Heritage Garden Program in Washington State, encouraging sustainable landscaping using native plants. Co-author of "Plant Selection Guide, Heritage Gardens of the Columbia River Basin." Presently a lead gardener in the Heritage Garden at Hansen Park in Kennewick, WA. We are performing a biodiversity study there using iNaturalist and working with an entomologist with Washington State University.

Completed certification in the Indiana Master Naturalist program. Have served as board member, Columbia Basin Chapter, Washington Native Plant Society. B.S. Environmental Science & M.S. Bionucleonics from Purdue University.
