I am a gardener on a private estate in Aurora, Ontario Canada. My keystone species is the Trumpeter swan, cygnus buccinator. Because of the swans I wanted to learn more about their habitat and the effects they were having on it as they increase in numbers. I started taking short courses, U of T Naturalist Course, Amphibian and reptile survey course, and the Ontario Master Naturalist Course. I also attend many workshops and meetings and belong to several Naturalist groups and have become a bioblitz junkie! Now I just have to catch up with technology. I have far too much fun and am a generalist of flora and fauna.
