I am a semi-retired software consultant with an avid enthusiasm for being outside searching for various things. I started as a birder in '06 and have always been interested in apex mammals.
I really became interested in leps and odes during the pandemic and have a developing interest for flowering plants, trees, and herps. Full retirement can't come soon enough so I can spend more time in the field and less time behind a computer.

I take pride in my photography, and hope that documenting my traipsing around will help provide data to conservation efforts.

My best records are

1st US record Tanned-blue Skipper

2nd US record - Sooty Saddlebag
