I am a general naturalist with particular interest in birds and native plants. I take part in a wide variety of birding activities primarily in the South Okanagan Valley of British Columbia including CBCs, an annual BBS, owl, and nightjar surveys, censuses at the Vaseux Banding Station,Burrowing owl care at the breeding facility in the S. Ok., and the annual Great Canadian Birdathon. I am the volunteer Caretaker for the Vaseux Lake IBA, and on the Board of the Okanagan Similkameen Stewardship Society. Other major interests are playing violin and piano, riding my horse, and food gardening.
