Plants and microorganisms are my passion. I am a Professor of Plant Anatomy and Physiology at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (Mexico), and a Ph.D. in Plant Biotechnology by CINVESTAV. My lines of research in the laboratory include microbial diversity and bioprospecting, plant and microbial biotechnology, the antitumor activity of natural compounds, and plant-microorganism interaction.
