Park Ranger, Bella Coola Area.
I am a recent biology graduate from the University of Northern British Columbia. I wrote my undergraduate thesis on the growth rates of a hair lichen, (Usnea longissima) transplanted from the north coast to the interior wet belt of British Columbia. My areas of interest include bryophytes, lichens, vascular plants, fungi, slime molds, and invertebrates. I've had the pleasure of doing plant surveys in the wetland, alpine, and old growth environments of the Robson Valley. Having recently relocated to the Bella Coola Valley I am excited to get more acquainted with the flora and fauna of the central coast of British Columbia.
