I'm an avid naturalist with a particular interest in birds. I also enjoy spending the summer months searching out and observing herps, Odonata, Lepidoptera and orchids, and am trying to learn more about all the organisms I take for granted everyday. I'm usually found on the Suffolk coast (UK) but have spent a fair bit of time overseas documenting my observations all the way. I'm currently completing my PhD at the University of Cambridge investigating the curious lives of Australian cuckoos.
