I'm an independent researcher with interests in conservation biology, ecology, and biogeography of various amphibian and reptile taxa native to California, Arizona, Nevada, and Mexico. Over the past few years I have also enjoyed a growing interest in arachnids (scorpions in particular) and botanizing (Eriogonum, Salvia, and Penstemon are particular non-Animalia favs).
