I completed my dissertation at New Mexico State University, Las Cruces and am a Professor of biology and fish, wildlife and conservation ecology at NMSU-Alamogordo. I have been researching Kinosternon hirtipes murrayi in Presidio County, Texas for the past nine years. It is a continuation of previous research by Mueller, Price, Miller, Scudday and Platt. Those data include mark and recapture, size, growth, movement, survival and basic descriptive statistics and population estimates. Observations on natural history have also been included along with DNA analyses. I have a few publications so far. More pubs to come! :0)
