M. Sc. student in Forest Entomology (Laval University) on studying the decline of insects in undisturbed forest stands within the Mauricie National Park (Laval University & Laurentian Forestry Centre).
I recently graduated with a B.Sc.A. degree in Environment, I have a strong passion for entomology, particularly in the fauna of eastern Canada. I spend most of my summer time searching for my groups of interest: Nitidulidae (currently working on a guide for Quebec species: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/nitidulidae-quebec), Elateridae, Buprestidae, Carabidae, Membracidae and Chrysididae. I have also conducted inventories and taxonomic studies on freshwater mussels (Class: Bivalvia).
While I strive for accurate identifications, I am also constantly learning about different groups. Please feel free to correct me if I make any mistakes, as I am always willing to learn and improve!
