Hi there!
I am a 17yr old naturalist who lives in George ( Western Cape, South Africa ) and loves absolutely everything to do with nature (except maybe a large Harpactira- see https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/334630-Harpactira). I am interested in our indigenous orchids (especially the genus Disa), but I'm also a keen herper, birder, ichthyologist and something of an entomologist, focusing on beetles like Epomis and Xiphodontus, as well as being a part- time lepidopterist focusing on Orachrysops niobe, Leto venus and Thestor barbatus. My profile picture shows Ceratandra grandiflora, an uncommon local orchid. l am a member of CREW (Custodians of Rare and Endangered Wildflowers).
l appreciate living in an area with such diverse wildlife and so many endemic species, which led me to start this project: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/southern-african-endemics feel free to join!
I try to publish useful articles on iNat in my spare time, which can be viewed here: https://www.inaturalist.org/journal/ludwig_muller
I am a Christian, which means that I believe Jesus Christ died for us to save us from our sins because we couldn't save ourselves. The important thing to realize is that God is in complete control- nothing bad can happen to you without His permission. Once you realize this, you will start thanking Him for every aspect of your life, whether it seems bad to you or not. You can join a Christian project on iNat here: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/christian-naturalists-observations
If you want to learn more about Christianity or just want to contact me about something, please write to ludwigxem@gmail.com .
You can also message me on inat (top right corner, envelope icon)
Have a great day further!

Christ died for you- therefore live for him.
