I am interested heavily in biology with an emphasis in botany and in butterfly biology. However, I also have a keen interest in any insect biology and ID, especially related to pollination biology. I am a major advocate in using native plants for gardening and restoration purposes. I am a beginner birder for many years now but am interested and trying to become better at bird identification. I have a BSc in Biology from UVIC and a Diploma in Applied Coastal Ecology from Coast Mountain College.
