I am a natural history writer with an MS in Biology from University of Pennsylvania. I learned my botany years ago in Virginia at Randolph-Macon Woman's College. Now many plant names and my college have both undergone name changes and so have I since I have been married to an ecology professor for over 50 years. We reside year round in Deer Isle, Maine where we have been at least part of the year all those 50 years.
