Coming back to natural history after retiring from many years in nursing. Have degrees in general and marine biology, and have worked at the Marine Biology Laboratory at Woods Hole, Mass. and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. Have illustrated several biology textbooks, such as the third edition of Barne's "Invertebrate Zoology" in the past, and most recently "Rabbits and Rats, Birds and Seeds, Cactus and Trees" by Paul Dayton and "Coral Reef Curiosities" by Chuck Weikert.
