I have been living in the southwestern desert of New Mexico for a little over 10 years. My observations and research into the flora and fauna of this area has only increased my fascination and love of the Northern Chihuahuan Desert.

*Update: As of 2022, I will be living and making my observations from in and around Roswell, New Mexico. (Please understand that I know very little about the Alien fauna.) It is in southeastern part of the state, Chaves County, and the area is considered part of the Great Plains. A portion of Lincoln National Forest is in the county. Nearby are the Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge and Bottomless Lakes State Park. The Pecos River flows southward through the middle of it. This is going to be fun!
