LLELA black-lighting on Friday, Sept 18th!
Hey friends,
We're planning to do some more black-lighting/mothing at LLELA on Friday, Sept 18th! Wanna come?!? Please let me know if you're planning on coming or want to come.
Also, make sure to wear a mask for this event -- there will be some UNT students joining us and we'll probably be doing a Facebook live vid or something.
I'm not exactly sure where we'll be meeting or the time yet, but as soon as I get that info I'll let yall know! :)

What the heck! I may just drive up there again, especially since it has rained and hopefully it will not be 113°F during the day. And, if @mchlfx attends. Have not seen him in ages. Anyway, I will stay tuned for the particulars.

Just an update (not in Swedish ;) ) -- Looks like 7 pm at the back entrance (the gate by LISDOLA) is where we'll meet! If you're planning on coming, try really hard to be there by 7. I'll get there at like 6:30 or so.

I'm not exactly sure where we'll be black-lighting, but it'll be at a different spot than last time -- I think at the margin of the forested area. Should be interesting! :)

It would be great if they can record it for all the kiddos who would like to try this at home since so much is closed to them. I'll keep watching. If you find out what the plan is I can get an email off to them on Friday last minute in the event it is a live feed. Either way I'll get them the FB page tonight at class. ;-)

Will we have to pay going in through the back entrance or are they letting us in free if we're with your group?
Through the back entrance, we don't have to pay (with our group). If you do show up there before 6:30, that gate will be closed, but you can park there and walk to the river a touch north (@brentano explored this a bit last time and spotted some good dragonflies).
Weather's looking pretty good, although a bit chilly (70's.. brrrr!) for the evening. :)
