Mendocino County City Nature Challenge Events

10 days until the City Nature Challenge!

The City Nature Challenge embraces the healing power of nature and celebrates tens of thousands of people all around the world, searching for and documenting their local biodiversity, together in this event. All you need to do is to take photos of the plants, animals, fungi, and other organisms you see in your backyard, local park, school yard, or in any urban, suburban, or rural area in Mendocino County. Or join an event listed below. Then upload your observations to iNaturalist, using the free app, so you can help us document nature in Mendocino County. Whether you spend an hour or a whole day in nature, individuals, families, and social pods will all enjoy participating in the City Nature Challenge. All experience levels and nature-curious people are welcome! For event updates, follow the City Nature Challenge: Mendocino County Facebook Page.
