Big Sandy Creek Bioblitz

Join us at the Big Sandy Creek Unit of the Big Thicket National Preserve for a birds-and-plants themed bioblitz. Help us record as many bird and plant species as you can find during this one-day event on Friday June 2, 2017.

The Big Sandy Creek Unit features some of our best upland longleaf pine savannah and beautiful mature hardwood creek bottoms where you'll find a large diversity of wildflowers and songbirds.

We'll have staff on hand and a booth full of reference books to help identify your findings. less ↑
