This project aims to collect observations of window strikes throughout Calgary as part of the Calgary Migratory Species Response Team (CMSRT) research. Founded in Fall 2019, CMSRT volunteers survey downtown Calgary for birds and bats affected by collisions with glass or other structures in fall and spring. Thank you for helping us help wildlife. CMSRT... where research meets rescue. Thank you for taking part!
*Please note birds, feathers and parts are protected federally and provincially. It is illegal to collect these unless you are properly permitted. Good samaritans may of course, deliver injured wildlife to their local licensed wildlife rehabilitation facility or local veterinarian. Thank you for taking part as a responsible #citizenscientist!
