Contest Summary

Our iNat contest earlier this month was a great success! The goal of our contest was to encourage you to get out in nature and observe wildlife. The winner received a free CRI buff and was chosen based on having the most amount of new observations between July 1st - July 8th. Congratulations to our winner Elizabeth Bateman (@lizmtb), who made 210 observations in one week! During the contest period, a total of 715 observations were made from across Canada and from one Mexican state (Quintana Roo) by 16 participants. Out of the 715 observations, 382 species were identified. Thank you to those who participated!  Here is the contest scoreboard:

Contest Update

Hello everyone and welcome new members!

It is great to see so many of you participating in our first iNat contest. Since July 1st, we have had 520 observations of 319 ID'd species by 16 observers!! Thank you to everyone who has posted new observations in the past week. Today marks the last day of the contest. Whoever has posted the most amount of new observations since July 1st by midnight tonight (ADT) will win a CRI buff. Here is the scoreboard so far:

First CRI iNat Contest !

Hello everyone,

Welcome to the CRI iNat Project and thanks for joining us! We are excited to see your observations and to share our love for nature and biodiversity with you.

Starting tomorrow (Canada Day), we will be launching our first iNat contest! Enter as many new observations as you can in a week for a chance to WIN a CRI buff. The winner is chosen based on having the most amount of new observations between July 1st - July 8th.
