Observations from the Great Southern Bioblitz still require ID

The observation and species tally for Lake Mac City is slowly creeping up: at this stage our local project still has just under 40% of observations yet to meet 'research grade'. This may be the observation can only be identified to genus or higher (rather than species) level or the images may be inconclusive.

Don't be disheartened as many organisms (including some spiders, insects, fungi, and plants) cannot be identified to the species level using only photographic evidence, so observations of them may never attain Research Grade. Please continue to focus on exploring Lake Mac City's backyard and discuss your observations with other iNaturalist members, support our local members and continue to get out cameras, phones and field guides. It is exciting seeing everyone's 'finds' and learning what they are.
