The Meewasin Northeast Swale BioBlitz 2017 will be held on July 26, 2017 as part of the BioBlitz Canada 2017 network. Funding for the event is provided by TD Friends of the Environment.

Scheduled events included: grassland bird intercepts, grassland health assessments and composition, wetland health, insect sweeps, dragonfly and damselfly surveys, vegetation inventories, and more.

This event will compile additional information for the Northeast Swale to build a further inventory of the site from previous BioBlitz in 2011, 2013, and 2016. less ↑
