Weather: cold.
Coverage: Jones trailhead to stop sign. I walked with Sophie L.
Newts: 1 newt, very dry.
Other roadkills: fence lizard, Jerusalem Cricket, grasshopper.
Traffic: 19 cars, 3 trucks, 0 motorcycles, 0 bikes, 10 pedestrians, 14 parked cars (0 cars at the farther parking lot).
