South/Aldercroft side - 4/9/2020

Coverage: Aldercroft Heights Road intersection to stop sign.
3:10pm - 5:01pm

Dead newts: 12 (UPDATED - it used to say 15, but there are actually only 12 uploaded), almost all on the side of the road away from the reservoir

Other critters: 1 fuzzy caterpillar, alive

Vehicles: 49 (!!!)
Bikes: 14

Weather: Cloudy, with occasional moist spit
Rainfall: MTD 2.34in, YTD 20.41in (per http://www.weathercat.net/wxraindetail.php?year=2020)

So many cars! People entertaining themselves at the reservoir with the time off, I suppose. Had a good chat with one person who asked what I was doing.

And so many ticks! I looked down at one point and had 6 crawling up my leg.

Weird stuff keeps happening when I try to upload the photos from this week, they'll get up eventually.

Hi Stacie (@newtpatrol),
I'm trying to update my spreadsheet with totals and I don't see any of your 15 observations for this date. You made a comment that you had difficulty uploading them. Could you please check and make sure they got uploaded and let me know?
Thanks,
Anne

Oh yes! Very sorry, @truthseqr, I tried those few times unsuccessfully then forgot about it. And I'm totally swamped at the moment, is it ok if I remind myself next week, after I finish a class?

Sure. Thanks, @newtpatrol.

@newtpatrol, please don't forget to upload those 15 observations. I've published stats that include the 15.

Thanks for the reminder @truthseqr, I've put reminders in my calendar starting Friday, that's when class ends, it's overwhelming right now.
