@loarie - I am a little worried about the size of this one, is it safe to just commit, or is it better handled in a backend process ?

The way that this happened, it sees the original genus ID, if there was one, as a conflict, and formerly Research Grade observations now appear as needing ID, since there is one ID of Nephila and two IDs for Trichonephila, thus not more than two thirds. Have been agreeing with Trichonephila to get them back to research, but maybe there's a better way to do it??

I think we'll have to tackle them manually, but since there should be no Nephila species in the Americas, we ought to be able to do some speedy IDing.
