Why would you eliminate the tribe Xantholinini? Xantholinini is still a recognized tribe according to the article you sited. It has been moved from subfamily Staphylininae to subfamily Xantholininae.

@stephen_thorpe sorry, too hasty - will take more care.

@millerbugguy @matters: According to hierarchy proposed, all taxa now outside a closer classification than subfamily level should be included on a finer one, before placing the three remaining tribes into Xantholininae (now in Staphylininae still)
