2024 Field Season

Hello & happy spring! Karner season is approaching fast and I’m here to give you an update:

Lupine is just starting to flower in sunny/southern spots. As a reminder, the best time to scout your sites is when the lupine is in bloom. This way you know exactly where to go for your surveys later in the summer. I’d give the lupine another week or two to get bloomin before you head out to scout.

And don't forget to log your time! Anything Karner related (planning, driving, scouting, surveying, data entry, etc.) should be logged.
