You are on a roll!

We're just over halfway through this year's City Nature Challenge, and we're making great strides to meet our goal of making at least 25,000 observations!

As of right now, we have 10847 observations (compared to 8817 for Los Angeles County)!

More importantly than the numbers, though, is the fact that each of those observations represent individual connections we are making with the natural world around us, while contributing to biodiversity research and conservation.

What a great way to give, learn, and have fun all at once!

And speaking of fun, we're enjoying the challenge of guessing which species will be the most observed!

It's the western fence lizard (Sceloporus occidentalis) in our county as of right now. But deerweed (Acmispon glaber) and California buckwheat (Eriogonum fasciculatum) are not far behind. What's your guess on what species will be the final 'winner'?
