Rocky Mountain Backyard Ecosystem

This summer I am trying my hand at gardening- not only am I excited to grow a variety of food items for myself and my partner, I am also excited to grow a variety of plants and create a number of features to help out the local wildlife. I am hoping to record all the species that visit the garden- so far my seed feeding features have attracted a wide variety of birds including Cassin's Finches, Red Crossbills, Evening Grosbeaks, Pygmy Nuthatches, House Finches, White-breasted Nuthatches, Red-Breasted Nuthatches, Common Grackles, Ravens, Pine Siskin, Wild Turkeys, and more. I have also noticed a few bees and butterflies flying through the yard. I'm hoping the numbers of pollinator species increases as the flowers start blooming and maturing.
