Allegany Nature Pilgrimage virtual hike (NY)

Plants, animals, fungi and lower life forms* found during the annual Allegany Nature Pilgrimage in Allegany State Park, Cattaraugus County, New York, USA, with phenology appropriate to late-May through early-June. A sample of the biota includes mushrooms, mosses, ferns, sedges, grasses, wildflowers, shrubs, trees, insects (including dragonflies, mayflies, beetles, butterflies and moths), other invertebrates (including crayfish and millipedes), amphibians (including frogs and salamanders), reptiles (including snakes and turtles), birds, mammals, etc.
Observations must be geo-referenced and occur between May 25 and June 7 [which are somewhat arbitrary dates]. A photo or sound recording is preferred. See terms. less ↑
