Sacramento Capitol Park BioBlitz

Hello to everyone who is checking in on this project. I think the students from Bowling Green Elementary that collected all the observations really enjoyed their time in the field. The students and the volunteer team that hosted the event are very appreciative of any support they can get in identifying species. The students did a pretty good job of photographing insects, birds, and squirrels in addition to studying the many interesting cultivated plants. There were way too many gorgeous pictures of roses and bamboo and bananas to post them all.
