Length of entire moth was probably a little over an inch.
@ Lost Maples State Natural Area
~8C Cloudy Day - was disappointed at not finding any cool bugs to photograph, then found this moth on the window of the restrooms as we were getting ready to leave.
Not sure on the ID - I thought this was a faded Rosy Maple Moth (since this park is full of maples) but the locality makes that seem unlikely. Appreciate any input.

Found at 175W MV and 2 20w CFL BLs in Longleaf Pine savanna with Chain Fern understory

This is a moth or butterfly. Several present, all on the tall grass.
On the wall under a security light for a bank. First seen in Connecticut for 50+ years?
Exceptional record for this boreal species. MV light, very humid and high 60's
