Flew into a carpet store and hit the glass windows trying to escape. Left by some trees in the parking by employees to recover, but he sustained some wing injuries and could not fly away. Rescued by the Spokane Audubon Society team and transported to a local rehab clinic.

Caught her. Photo 2 in field.
Chilling her to get some live shots. Photos 1, 3, 4, & 5. Her scopa is so full she’s losing pollen all over. Cooled her for about 11 minutes but she can shiver herself warm quickly. She dusted off her metasoma and left several piles of pollen behind her. I am hoping if she’s still a while more pollen may drop off her scopa. I could see some blonde hairs on the inside of her hind leg in my Canon.
Photo 6 &. 7. Added a few of the longer chilled photos with less pollen. Scopa nearly clear.
Photo 8 pinned bee for best wing cells. Her wings are worn off at the tips.
Photos 9, 10, 11, 12 are in process.

Description
Third time I have seen this bee since we moved here. Chilled her but within a couple minutes of being out for photos she had wiped off her face and was ready to take off. Seems cold doesn't bother her much, which is useful in an early spring bee.
Found in the Prairie Stars. Should note previous encounter was a bee in the Prairie stars and another in the Mahonia/Berberis aquifolium flowers in 2018.
Few other flowers available here--First to open are Ranunculus glaberrimus, soon there is Lomatium geyeri and Fritillaria pudica. Some of the Scouler's willow we planted are blooming, some are still buds. Mertensia (oblongifolia?) opened within last day or two, and many are blooming today.
Andrena milwaukiensis?

Tragopogon-like exotic weed that is spreading in northern Utah. Note the difference in the size and shape of the involucre and the deeply lobed leaves.
