Seems a bit late in the season but today I found eggs, and three different instar stages.
Not at all sure what this is; I am NOT familiar with the various migratory shorebirds; am going with the machine identification. Corrections welcome!!
Very difficult to photograph because the strong sunlight washes out the delicate colours. About 1 per hour seen flying through garden. About 2 per day stop to feed.
