Photos by Mr. Binder. Larvae captured by Dennis LaPointe on 6/6/18. These japonicus seem to be hairier than the japonicus we collected over the years in Waimea.

Caught after attempting to bite volunteer.

I'd forgotten I found this last month. Apparently the first record from the northern Koolau range, about 2000 ft elevation.

Alyssa and teresamae in mr. Binders class saw a female ades japonicas, from a larvae in mr.Binders yard.

Faith and Rovi took a picture of a female mosquito reared from a larvae found in Mr.Binder's yard on Aug. 17.

Jake and Nevaeh aspirated this alive out of a rearing container onto sticky paper. It was reared from a larva found in a bucket in Mr. Binder's neighbor's yard on Aug. 17.

Reared from larva found on June 19 in a rock pool along a trail in the woods far from any human habitation. This tiny rock pool also had Culex larvae.
