It was a no-wind, flat sea day so we were wandering on top of the sandy cliff and heard them. We could only see their back and hear their breathing but the dorsal fin is extremely characteristic.
Dolphins are still not a rare encounter at the top end of the Dakhla bay, but can usually been spotted only when the water is very calm. I am attaching a full-size image and two details to give as much info as possible also on the context.
