Description

Very small white mushrooms found near redwood grove. Interesting, wide spaced gill pattern. Stored in its own bag in fridge overnight, then turned greenish/blue after laying out for 30 minutes???

Description

Found under large oak tree right after rainfall. Slimy cap. Smelt and tasted fine, kinda bland I guess, no bitterness.

Description

Cap texture and odor were very much like that of a nice restaurant dumpling. Taste was kinda bad, not bitter but not really pleasing. Consistency was kinda mushy. Found near (but not on) large piles of woodchips.

5-7cm wide caps, 4-6cm long stipes. Smelled pretty nutty, but tasted bland. Found under coast live oak.

Found under coast live oak. Smells strongly familiar, not quite mushroomy, kinda like fresh candy caps now that I think about it. ID’d by Seek as Oak Loving Elfin Saddle.
