Investigating nematodes, larval leaches or flukes in oral cavity noticed on defensive death feigning behavior. See third image.
Same specimen found hours earlier on Nollkamper Road, located again by Gary Heyroth (his image) after being alerted to it by his dogs. Traveled about 330 meters in 5 hours, 8 minutes. Re-identified by size, sex, pattern (irregular blotches at 8 and 21), and scar on venter.
It was pretty cold last night and this guy couldn't fit into the usual warmer place up in the ceiling with the other two. Tummy too big so it will probably rest there for a while.
Large adult female in the same place as: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/203671841
A Juvenile, about 40cm long.
Found a floating turtle in the water, dead.
