Medium sized jumping spider.
Near the chimney. Had several small Leafhoppers on it. The flower was a couple inches tall, and very prickly. The plant itself awas around two to three feet tall.
1 inch or so in diameter, growing in long oat grass near scat (deer?). Only a few inches tall. A few others of these flowers grew nearby, also near scat.
An exoskeleton found under a log next to the trail in oak woodland.
Found dead with some spider webs on it near the doorway to the Dwight Center (upper level).
A nest near the tree that the fledgling landed in. The adult female was seen feeding a nest of three that appeared to have no feathers; however it was difficult to tell due to the angle. The male is seen often nearby.
These insects are hard to see with the naked eye but they are all over our driveway.
Beware, because these earwigs pinch you. Once we found one inside!!
